Dogs' life...

I couldn't include too many photos in the last post, and the dogs really do deserve their very own post...

They have been absolutely wonderful! They are behaving in the car, and just settle down and nap most of the day. Bella has some moments where she wants to bark and howl at everyone and everything that moves outside of the car, but we can manage to settle her down. Solavina jumped up in the back with Cejas yesterday when we were leaving Helen's house, so we let Missy sit in the back seat with Bella, and that arrangement is actually working better... Vina has all of the room she wants to stretch out those little scrawny coyote legs, and she doesn't try to cuddle up with Cejas like Missy does, and which annoys him no end. He's only warm and fuzzy to me, and only when he wants to be! Vina even managed to figure out a way to turn the water bowl into a pillow! There is a blanket on top of it and she has been sleeping with her head on that. Bella and Missy love to snuggle and cuddle together, so the two of them are in the back seat like pretzels... luckily they are black and white so we can tell where one starts and the other ends! They did the 13 hours today with no whining, barking, yipping, moaning, or wimpering (Bob wishes the same could be said for me!) So they are getting big gold stars for being super duper doggie travelers! We only had to stop once for Cejas (who wimpers when he needs to go) and the other times that they got breaks were during our own potty and gas breaks. They are all curled up now, fast asleep - Missy and Cejas on the bed with Bob, and Bella on thSavede other bed (we got a room with two beds - one for us and one for the dogs) and Vina is on her little dog bed that is between the beds. She doesn't like to sleep on beds much - probably from being on the beach and not being allowed... she has her own little pillow bed that she loves and her very own Woody/Buzz pillow because she always has to sleep with her head on a pillow.

So, here are our little travelers. Let's hope they are little angels tomorrow at the customs/immigration office!

Oh my gosh, I thought you were traveling in an RV - not a CRV! Hope everything goes smoothly at the border.......

The CRV actually isn't crowded - it's quite cozy and I've developed a new way of packing - layering! I'll have to patent it!

Yeah, I can see that Missy & Bella have got the layering thing down pat!
